Hull / Hybrid 

£25,500 - £31,000 per annum DOE + Flexible Working, *Every other Friday off and Excellent Benefits

We offer flexible start and finish times as well as having every other Friday off*. We trust our people to work flexibly around their lifestyle and family arrangements. Summiteers are asked to attend our office in the C4DI complex in Hull, Fruit Market 2 days per week, the rest of the week can be done from home. For the right candidate, we may also consider greater flexibility around office time.  

  

About the Role 

 

As the SEO Tech Manager you'll be creating and leading clients’ technical SEO activity, developing and executing our strategy in line with client's objectives. You'll be tracking and reporting on performance according to relevant targets and KPIs along with investigating and troubleshooting where necessary. You'll be the point of contact and be in regular communication with clients, cultivating a positive and collaborative working relationship. Some of the ways you'll contribute to the team is by: 

 
 

  • Implementing technical SEO marketing activities to meet our client’s performance goals 

  • Staying up to date with industry trends and SEO best practice, identifying strategies that are applicable to our clients. 

  • Analysing issues and opportunities, whilst providing and implementing recommendations 

  • Assisting the Senior Client Manager in developing relationships and maintaining strong communication with clients 

  • Working collaboratively with wider client teams, marketing technology and support teams across the business 

  • Work collaboratively with the content managers to ensure strategies are aligned for the client. 

 

Job requirements

About You 

 

With strong technical SEO knowledge and a minimum of 1+ years’ experience managing technical SEO activity in either a client or agency environment, you will be required to manage and prioritise your own workload, with keen attention to detail and strong focus on objectives. You'll be self-motivated, willing to learn and improve with the ability to adapt to situations and works with teams effectively. Together with: 
 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships, both with internal stakeholders and clients. 

  • Experience of analysing performance issues and opportunities, including implementation of recommendations 

  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 

  • Tracking and reporting experience with analytics packages such as GA 

  • Confident in using a suite of core SEO performance and analysis tools such as (or similar to): Semrush, Sitebulb, Screaming Frog, etc 

  • Ability to analyse problems effectively and solve issues, considering the long-term impact and anticipating future consequences and trends. Creating new insights and generating solutions 

 

On offer is a competitive salary  up to £31000 per annum as well as a range of benefits including flexible start and finish times, up to 29 days' holiday per year (plus bank holidays), milestone days off, Bupa health cash plan, life assurance and Annual Bonus Scheme.
