Are you looking to kick start your career in Digital Marketing? We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Apprentice who will work and learn from a skilled and experienced digital marketing team. About the role
As a Digital Marketing Apprentice at Summit, you will be given the opportunity to work on a range of client-facing projects across a variety of channels including paid search, SEO, paid social, display and affiliate activity. You will join an existing client team and work with our channel managers to support with our clients’ marketing activity, helping to execute our strategy in line with client objectives. You will spend 80% of your time working on activity for Summit, and 20% of your time completing a Level 3 qualification in Digital Marketing with Hull College.
Your role will give you fantastic, real-world experience as you communicate with clients, cultivate positive and collaborative working relationships via email and phone, plus face-to-face/virtual meetings with support from the wider team. You will receive training to equip you with a high degree of specialised expertise and skills to ensure the work carried out for our clients is maintained to the highest standard of quality. You will add value to the team by:
Implementing marketing activities, such as paid search and shopping ads, paid social ads, SEO activity, affiliate marketing activity and much more
Campaign and budget management
Accurately implementing marketing strategies with support from the channel managers
Monitoring results, analysing key site metrics and providing proactive recommendations
Supporting channel managers in analysing issues and opportunities, and implementing strategic recommendations
This 18-month apprenticeship involves flexible working and Summiteers are asked to attend our office in the C4DI complex in Hull, Fruit Market 2 days per week, the rest of the week can be done from home. You will also be requires to attend study sessions weekly which are included in your contracted hours.

About you

Key skills and knowledge include:
An interest in digital marketing is essential. Previous experience and/or knowledge of digital marketing activities is preferable but not essential.
Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
An aptitude for numbers to assist with learning of tracking and reporting processes.
Ability to analyse problems effectively and solve issues, considering the long-term impact and anticipating future consequences and trends.
Good communication skills to build relationships and support networking internally and externally.
Excellent attention to detail: careful and thorough, gathering complete information and striving for quality.
Able to plan own time effectively; can set priorities and manage tasks efficiently.
Customer service orientated, dedicated to meeting requirements of internal and external stakeholders.
Able to accept and welcome feedback and willing to learn, develop and ultimately improve self.
