We are passionate about helping our clients transform their business opportunity online by too thinking and acting differently.  Our awarding-winning Client Management team is looking to invest and hire an entry level Marketing Executive, who will work and learn from a skilled and experienced digital marketing team. 


About the Role

As a Client Executive, you will be responsible for multi-channel digital activity in line with client requirements, supporting a wider client delivery team of experienced practitioners. You will work with Client Managers to support with clients paid search activity, helping to execute our strategy in line with client objectives.


Regularly communicating with clients, cultivating a positive and collaborative working relationship via email and phone, plus face-to-face meetings with support from the wider team. You will receive training to equip you with a high degree of specialised expertise and skills to ensure the work carried out for our clients is maintained to the highest standard of quality. You'll add value to the team by:


  • Implementing paid search activities, inc PLAs, display, programmatic and paid social campaigns
  • Campaign and budget management
  • Accurately implementing paid media strategies with support from the Client Manager and delivering business across paid media activity
  • Monitoring results, analyse key site metrics and provide proactive recommendations
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and paid media best practice, identifying strategies that are applicable to our clients
  • Supporting Client Managers in analysing issues and opportunities, and implementing strategic recommendations


This permanent role involves flexible working and initially will be based remotely from home due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions. There will be a return to the office in 2021 where working will then be split between the offices and remotely. Summit's teams are based in East Yorkshire and Central London (Soho), with strategic partners in Europe.


    Job Requirements

    About You

    Drive, determination and a self-disciplined approach are vital to be effective in this role. You will enjoy and be able to easily adapt to different personalities, being a proactive team player who is motivated and highly organised, enabling you to manage a diverse and busy workload. Key skills and knowledge include:


  • Previous experience within an entry-level marketing role or Degree (or equivalent) gained within Marketing/Digital
  • Basic understanding and experience of delivering paid social campaigns
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • An aptitude for numbers to assist with learning of tracking and reporting processes
  • Ability to analyse problems effectively and solve issues, considering the long-term impact and anticipating future consequences and trends
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships and support networking internally and externally.
  • Customer service orientated, dedicated to meeting requirements of internal and external stakeholders
  • Willing to learn, develop and ultimately improve self
