Summit - The Changemakers in Online Retail and Performance Marketing have a fantastic opportunity looking for a Head of Agency Growth to join our team.

As the Head of Agency Growth you will own the ‘shop window’ of Summit. You will be promoting our vast experience and heritage in performance marketing, our unique and diverse people, our culture and our ability to become ‘Changemakers’ and “make it more likely that customers buy from our clients than anyone else”. You will bring the brand vision for Summit to life for staff, clients and partners by managing end-to-end events and campaigns, including the planning, executing and reviewing stages.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Own our annual marketing plan and £100K+ marketing budget - ensuring key metrics are met: (i) Sales leads and (ii) Talent attraction.
  • Ideate, develop and implement campaigns across the digital marketing communications mix including emails, blogs, webinars, landing pages, social media and SEO.
  • Lead Summit-hosted events for prospects, partners, customers and retail industry interest groups.
  • Act as administrator for our CRM system to integrate marketing activity with existing company processes and GDPR.
  • Create, review and maintain key marketing messages for target audiences.
  • Develop new ‘talent attraction’ campaigns for the business, showcasing Summit as a great place to work.
  • Own company branding, tone of voice and corporate website to ensure content is current and cutting edge. They will deliver this in conjunction with other ‘Heads of’ within the business including paid, affiliates, SEO and Productcaster.
  • Find, onboard and actively manage relationships with supporting partner agencies including PR and content.

Summiteers are asked to attend our office in the C4DI complex in Hull, Fruit Market 2 days per week, the rest of the week can be done from home. For the right candidate, we may also consider greater flexibility around office time.

Job Requirements

What are we looking for?

Drive, determination and a self-disciplined approach are vital to be effective in this role. You will enjoy being a proactive team player who is motivated, enabling you to manage a diverse and busy workload. You should be able to jump in and execute changes when required, whilst being able to take a step back and lead on solutions for challenges.

Key skills and knowledge include:

  • Having working knowledge of CRM management as well as agency/SaaS marketing experience, B2B sales and marketing processes and the fight for talent attraction.
  • Idea generation; you will be a fountain of ideas and energy and comfortable working in a small team or independently to create ‘ever green’ content.
  • You will need positivity and persistence to squeeze every drop out of our marketing investments.
  • People skills to persuade and influence will also be key, ensuring collaboration with the client teams (where the marketing stories for Summit live), creating energy and enthusiasm to work with Summit brand marketing.
  • Strategic thinking to see the big picture within our industry as well as organisation to work across two key objectives and business areas (sales and recruitment), analytic skills to interpret campaign performance and negotiation skills to ensure we’re getting value for money on our marketing investments.
