Front-End Developer, Willerby East Yorkshire

Salary Circa £30k to £40k + Benefits

About the Role

Working as a Vue.js / React Developer within our Product team, you'll be responsible for the front-end development of our market-leading, proprietary technology solutions for retailers. You will mainly be developing front end solutions, working from within a scrum team. You will primarily be liaising with Scrum Masters and other members of the scrum team, as well as Product Owners and Design teams as appropriate to help deliver high quality Vue.js / React development. Together with:


  • Defining and implementing new front-end solutions
  • Reviewing, analysing and refactoring existing code and identifying areas of improvements without adverse impact to performance or maintainability.
  • Following and improving the team processes around releasing, automated testing and code reviews
  • Participating in application maintenance and support
  • Testing and technical documentation
  • Research into new technologies and plug-ins for new functionality

Job Requirements

About You

An experienced Developer, you will be analytical, logical with good problem-solving skills, adept at communicating both internally and externally, you will have:

    • Experience and proficiency with either Vue.js or React development (both preferred!)
    • Experienced working within Scrum methodologies
    • Good Client/Stakeholder Management skills
    • Ideally, have working knowledge of:
      • Kubernetes
      • Docker
      • Project planning & Project management
